MTN has now introduced hourly data plan for youtube streaming. This new data plan is a time based data plan that allow you watch Youtube videos from a data enabled device. This special data plan is eligible to all MTN subscribers.
This data plan comes in two packages as ''Video Packs'' in which is the validity is for 1 hour and 3 hours respectively. MTN subscribers can either subscribe to theb 1 hour plan for N150 or 3 hours plan for N400.
HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE MTN YOUTUBE VIDEO STREAMING
- For 1 Hour - N150, text VP1 to 131 or dial *131*8*1#
- For 3 Hours - N400, text VP3 to 131 or dial *131*8*2#
- To check your balance dial *559*18#
Unfortunately, this time based data plan is not unlimited and it has been data capped at a certain data volume. The 1 hour data plan is capped at 750mb and the 3 hours data plan is capped 2.25gb but watch out for the method to make this MTN youtube streaming pack power up all the apps like 9mobile youtube 2hours plan, which will be posted soon.
