Open A Lesotho Paypal In Nigeria That Send and Receives 2021 (with pictures)
It is no longer a news as we all know that a Nigerian PayPal do not longer receive payments but can only send. This makes is difficult for individual like Freelancers to receive funds. The Nigerian PayPal was used for online business, not only for buying and paying for goods and services.
I decided to put this information down when I got to know that many people do not still know on how to open a PayPal account that sends and receives here in Nigeria. Yes, I mean a legit one that do not require VPN to sign up and login just like the US PayPal. Do you know one thing about all this PayPal that requires VPN, once your real IP address is detected, your account will be locked and will almost as be good as gone.
I discovered that opening a Lesotho PayPal account has the full feature of other foreign PayPal accounts.
Let’s move straight to the point.
Here are the things you will need:
- Valid ID e.g. National ID card, Permanent Voters card, etc.
- A Credit or Debit Card
- An Bank account with at least #1000
Head over to https://www.Paypal.com/ls/webapps/mpp/merchant or copy and paste this link to your browser. The page will appear like the image below:
Click on the Sign
Up button that is at the top right of your screen and you will get this other
image below.
On this page you
will have to select business. The reason is because open a business account has
the full feature we need. That is, it can both send and receive. Go ahead and
click continue and move to the next page which is the image you are seeing
below.
In this business information page, Input your
legal name, I mean the names you use on your valid means of identification (valid
ID card e.g. voters card, etc.).
As for the business
name, you can use any name you like, it does not matter at all. In my own case,
I used any name I liked.
In the business
phone number section, click on the dropdown menu and choose Nigeria. After
choosing Nigeria, input your valid phone number.
In the business
address section, you can use any address you will remember but it is better you
use the address written down in your valid ID card.
The next thing is
to choose currency, choose US dollars and click on Agree and Continue.
When you are done
you will get to the next page like the image below.
In this section,
select individual in the first dropdown section, then you can n select anything
in the category and subcategory.
After you are done
with this section, you will be taken to another page about provide more information about yourself.
You are to provide
an identification document for verification in this page. Put in Nigeria as
your nationality and select the document you wish to use and enter the
corresponding details into the spaces provided.
Note that you can
use any random number but it highly recommended that you use your legal
document. This reason is because you will not want to encounter any problem in
the future.
The next thing is
to click submit than a page will open asking you to verify your email.
After confirming
it, you you will be lead directly to your dashboard page. It may look like
this:
Next to locate that
settings icon at the top right of your screen and click on it. The notification
there will ask you to verify your email (that is if you have done so) and verify
(link and confirm) your credit/debit card.
Your page may no longer be like this if you have verified your email. It will be like the image below.
Note: once you verify your email, you can now
receive payment but the account may be limited. I’d advise you to fully verify
it but if you plan to use it to receive small payment, you can decide to stop
here.
At this point,
click on Link and confirm debit or
credit card and you will be taken to a page to provide your card details as
shown below.
Enter your card
details and click on continue. Then about #500 will be debited immediately
depending on your bank but it will be refunded back. You will get a message
from your bank about a PayPal code. You might not get the message immediately.
If you haven’t
received any PP code and you have been debited, check you bank statement via
your mobile app or internet banking.
Here is what the
code looks like:
When you have
gotten this code, go back to the page where you are asked to supply it. Punch
in the code there and your account will be successfully verified.
Congratulations, you now have a verified PayPal account that can both send and receive.
Here is a little advice I have for you:
- When using this method, one must ensure the following steps are adhered to:
- Use this link to always open your PayPal Account: Paypal.com/ls
- Do not
use a VPN
- Try to get a dedicated browser for it
- Do not login multiple PayPal Account
·
And
most importantly, do not do any fraudulent stuffs online. Stay legit always.
With this you will be ok and fine, able to receive money from your online
business, Freelancing etc. even while in Nigeria; until PayPal decides to
incorporate the withdrawal feature for Nigerian Account holders.
